Hello Reader, I have been working to process all the content we brought back from our short stay in Los Cabos Mexico. We stayed at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos, this is a beautiful all-inclusive resort for families. I will tell you that I was very impressed with this resort. The property was kept very clean and all the facilities were kept up very well. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Of the 7 restaurants on property, I was able to try 4 of them. The food was impressive. Check out these photos. These are from the french restaurant, Bon Vivant. There are so many different areas in Los Cabos and so many different resorts. Our goal with this trip was to learn about the area in San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. We wanted to see the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos resort and The Hard Rock Hotel. We wanted to be able to be able to match our clients to resorts that fit their travel style. Many beaches in Los Cabos are not swimmable but there are some resorts with a swimmable beach. We work with the Los Cabos tourism board and know where the swimmable beaches are located. The tourist areas of Los Cabos are San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas. Ann and I ventured into San Jose del Cabo for the Thursday night art walk. Due to some circumstances of our own we were not able to explore all of the art walk scene. It usually starts at 7:00PM so it is a little cooler and there were so many vendors. I will tell you the artwork is awesome. Here a couple of pictures of the art walk. After a tour of the Hard Rock Hotel we headed into Cabo San Lucas. Enjoyed a great lunch at The Office. We had some of the best shrimp cocktail at this place. Located right on Medano beach in Cabo San Lucas. The mountains that make up lands end are visible from the beach. The cerveza was flowing and the lively atmosphere was hopping. Cabo San Lucas is definitely a party vibe where San Jose del Cabo is more relaxed.
Of course, Ann and I had to visit El Arco. We took a glass bottom boat tour out to end the Baja peninsula. There are tons of tours taking people out there. I think the best ones to try are the clear boat tours. We were unable to book one of those for ourselves on short notice but any boat tour to see this landmark is incredible. Pelican beach and Lover's beach are also destinations that tourists can go to. All in all, I had a wonderful time in Los Cabos and already planning to return in the future. The water is beautiful and plenty of water and beach activities to do in the region. The Hyatt Ziva is our favorite place to stay. If you would like to experience this great place for yourself, reach out to us. We have many clients that have already seen what we're talking about. I look forward to talking to you soon! Cruises especially are changing their pricing due to supply and demand. We heard reports...
Hello Reader, The absolute top thing we did to save our customers money..... Travel Insurance....yep, really... Last year we saw 4 cruises get cancelled and 1 family trip for 3 families totaling 11 people cancelled. These clients we were able to help get 100% of their trip costs refunded. I will tell you my heart sank each time I was told of the cancellations. They were all for unforeseen medical reasons : Two sisters cruising for the first time. 4 weeks before their trip, their mother has a...
Hello Reader, A funny thing happened to me on my last cruise. Short story is they found a bullet in my backpack. A bullet keychain I have travelled with my work backpack in the past and had no problems making it through security. Recently I put that keychain above in my backpack for the office and totally forgot to remove it for the cruise. At the terminal I am in line and my backpack enters the machine. The security agent stops the machine and looks at me. She repositions my backpack and...
